Neon created a developer portal and dashboard for XQ, the market leader in zero trust, quantum-resistant data security.
Opportunity
XQ specializes in Zero Trust data security, which means no user or device is automatically trusted when sharing encrypted data. They wanted to hone in on their target market, identify and validate additional use cases, and offer developers a way to access and manage data privacy within their applications with XQ's API.
Outcome
We conducted market research to identify XQ’s ideal target market and perceptions of existing feature sets. Based on the results of that research, we built a developer portal and dashboard, allowing any developer to utilize XQ’s technology to build quantum-resistant encryption applications.
The future of encryption
If an attack from a traditional computer is like a person solving a puzzle by trying one piece at a time, a quantum computer can try multiple pieces simultaneously. XQ uses quantum computing to encrypt data, making it far better equipped to resist quantum attacks. Through the developer portal, XQ customers have a simplified yet highly secured means of monitoring activity in real-time and controlling their data to and from IoT devices like mobile phones, wearables, and security system networks.

Neon designed the developer portal user interface (UI) to meet the requirements of XQ's target audience: developers. The design focused on simplicity and usability, ensuring that developers could intuitively understand and navigate the platform.
One of the main features added was API key management, allowing developers to manage their API keys from a centralized location. This makes it easy for them to keep track of their key usage and revoke access if necessary. We also included a sandbox environment, giving developers a space to test their digital products without affecting live data. Users can also invite collaborators for their projects, and create reports on their data traffic.

The UI has helped the company to achieve its goal of providing a user-friendly and developer-centric platform for building digital products with encrypted data. The platform's key features, combined with its intuitive design, have made it a popular choice among developers and have helped XQ to establish itself as a leader in the field of data encryption technology.
